Children’s Ministries

“Let the little children come to Me . . .” Throughout His time on earth, Jesus made it clear that kids matter to God. At OBCC, we believe that today’s children are not just reminders of our church’s future, they are in every way equal partners with adults in the church’s present. Our mission is to network with the family in presenting the gospel as a spiritual foundation which will lead a child into a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Here are some of the ministries for children and their parents that OBCC offers.

  • Nursing Mothers’ Lounge:  A private lounge for nursing babies and their mothers is located in the women’s restroom in our main foyer (close to the main auditorium doors).  While in the lounge area, guests can watch and listen to the church service by way of closed circuit television.
  • Sunday Nursery Care:  Age-appropriate nurseries are available during the 10:00am service for all children through kindergarten.  Each child must register with a parent at the registration desk in our southwest foyer prior to being admitted to a nursery.
  • Weekday - Childcare, Preschool and Kindergarten: Oak Brook Christian School offers various weekday childcare, preschool and kindergarten program opportunities. Summer Camp is also available. For more information, click here to visit the school website.
  • PowerHouse Kids Church:  PowerHouse happens each Sunday at 10:00am (concurrent with our worship service) in the Children’s Center.  PowerHouse Kids worship together, play games, learn God’s Word, and are exposed to missions efforts around the world in a fast-paced, high energy environment perfect for kids.
